W.E.B. in TECH
Women Engagement Boost in Technology
Digital skills, empowerment, employability and new opportunities for women through an international learning and cooperation pathway.
IN TECH
Building the foundations of W.E.B. in TECH
WP1 established the methodological, organisational and capacity-building foundations required for the implementation of the project and for the development of the subsequent training pathway.
Project preparation and coordination
Initial coordination and preparatory activities supported a shared operational framework among project partners.
Skills and training needs
Needs analysis activities explored digital competences, organisational challenges, learning needs and employability-related skills relevant to the project target groups.
Capacity building & mutual learning
Mutual learning activities supported knowledge exchange and the development of common approaches to women’s digital empowerment and professional inclusion.
Learning framework
WP1 contributed to the methodological and educational framework subsequently used for the implementation of the W.E.B. in TECH learning pathway.
From coordination to transnational cooperation
Key moments of the preparatory and capacity-building phase, documenting the development of the project from its initial coordination to in-person activities.
The online kick-off marked the beginning of the joint implementation process and supported coordination among the international project partners.
The Malta activities strengthened cooperation among project partners and supported the development of the learning and capacity-building dimension of W.E.B. in TECH.
A further physical activity in Rome supported the connection between the project pathway, its target groups and the development of the learning and empowerment activities.
Digital skills translated into practical opportunities
WP2 represented the core learning and employability phase of W.E.B. in TECH, combining digital education, online learning, career guidance and practical support.
Digital Training Programme
A structured learning pathway was developed around practical digital competences and their application to personal and professional development.
- Digital skills
- Artificial Intelligence and ChatGPT
- Career guidance and employability
- Communication and digital presence
- Creativity and productivity
- Storytelling and digital fundraising
- Green and digital transition
- Digital wellbeing
Online Training Platform
The project created an accessible online learning environment with video lessons, learning resources and practical tools.
Participation & learning engagement
Participation was consolidated through two complementary sources of evidence covering women who registered and accessed the learning pathway and women who subsequently requested certification and/or completed the post-training evaluation.
After consolidation and removal of duplicates, 80 unique participants were identified.
Career Guidance & Pre-placement Support
The activity supported participants in strengthening professional positioning, communication, employability and access to new opportunities.
Direct support channels were complemented by an online career guidance webinar.

Career guidance in practice
The webinar provided a practical learning experience focused on how women can communicate their professional value more effectively in today’s digital environment.
The session was delivered by Francesca Ciaralli – Life Coach and combined theoretical reflection with practical guidance.
Participants explored how to recognise and communicate their strengths, improve professional communication, present themselves online and develop a stronger digital presence.

W.E.B. in TECH on the ground
Alongside digital dissemination, the project was presented through physical activities involving participants, stakeholders, organisations and local and institutional actors.
An in-person dissemination and stakeholder engagement activity provided an opportunity to present W.E.B. in TECH, share the project pathway and strengthen connections with women, organisations and relevant stakeholders.
The project reached a wider audience in Milan through an in-person activity dedicated to project visibility, digital empowerment, training opportunities and engagement with stakeholders.
W.E.B. in TECH was also presented within an institutional setting in Rome, strengthening visibility and dialogue with stakeholders from different sectors and supporting wider awareness of the project’s objectives and opportunities.
The territorial dissemination activity in Tolfa brought the project closer to local stakeholders and organisations, supporting dialogue around women’s empowerment, digital competences and future cooperation opportunities.
